Physics Arcade Ultimate
Six zones, one run: gravity, bounce, balance, motion, collision and force.
Ranked by how often you have opened each game in this browser. Physics Arcade keeps no global play counters or rankings.
Physics Arcade keeps no global play counters, no server-side analytics of game launches and no rankings. The list below is ordered by how many times you have opened each game in this browser, read from your own localStorage. It does not reflect anyone else's play, and it resets if you clear your browser data.
Games chosen for how well they demonstrate what the engine can do. This is an editorial selection, not a popularity measurement.
Six zones, one run: gravity, bounce, balance, motion, collision and force.
Fall through a shaft of solid platforms while a rising hazard line chases you down.
Fire an elastic orb into a chamber and clear the targets with the bounces you have left.
Roll a heavy sphere over hills and gaps, using downhills to earn the next climb.
Thread a probe between gravity wells, collecting rings without crashing or escaping.
A sandbox with a job to do: spawn, flick, change gravity, fill the collector.
A global play counter or high-score table would require a server, an account system and somewhere to store data about visitors. Physics Arcade is a static site with none of those things, and adding them purely to display a number would mean collecting data we have no other reason to hold.
It would also be trivially gameable. A client-side game with a server-side leaderboard and no verification produces a ranking of whoever was most determined to falsify it, which is worse than no ranking at all.
So the site shows you your own figures, stored in your own browser, and says plainly that is what they are. Your best scores, favourites and play history are visible on favourites and recently played, and on each game page under "local high scores".
The editor's picks above are the eight games that best demonstrate the range of the engine — one from each category plus the flagship. If you would rather be surprised, the random game picker chooses from the same database that builds every page here, so it can only ever send you to a real, finished game.
